Data controller and contact

The data controller is Paweł Zienowicz. For privacy matters, contact zienowicz.pawel@gmail.com.

Data handled by the app

A parent may enter and save on the device:

  • the child’s name, chosen avatar, profile colour and optional photo;
  • activity and reward names, icons and availability settings;
  • points balance and transaction history, including dates and optional comments;
  • app preferences such as theme, animations, haptics and visibility of reversed transactions.

Plusiko is a tool for parents. Children do not create accounts or use a separate interface.

Please enter only information needed to use the app. Avoid putting sensitive information in comments.

Profile photos

If a parent chooses a photo from the library, Plusiko uses the system photo picker, resizes the selected image and stores it in the app’s private storage. It is used as the child’s avatar and is not uploaded to Plusiko servers. The app does not provide an in-app camera capture feature.

Where data is stored

Profiles, catalogues and transaction history are stored in the app’s local database. Preferences are stored locally, and photos are kept in Plusiko’s private app storage. The app has no Plusiko account, backend, sync or cloud-backup feature.

The operating system may include app data in a device backup, depending on the platform and the user’s backup settings. Such backups are managed by the operating-system provider, not Plusiko.

The app does not add its own database encryption. Device and backup protection depend on operating-system settings.

Sharing and external services

The app code does not send profiles, photos, balances or history to the Plusiko publisher or its servers. The app does not integrate advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Choosing a photo may open the system file picker; operating-system and app-store providers have their own privacy practices.

Core Plusiko features do not require an internet connection.

How long data stays on the device

Data stays on the device until the user deletes it, clears the app’s data or uninstalls Plusiko, subject to any operating-system backups. Deleting a child profile removes that profile and its transaction history from the app database.

Profile photos are stored separately in the app’s private folder. In the current version, a photo file may remain after its profile is deleted; it is removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.

Your choices and rights

You can view and correct data in the app and delete children’s profiles. Because Plusiko does not send profile contents to the publisher, the publisher cannot access, edit or remotely delete your local profiles.

For questions about personal data, contact the controller using the address listed above. Depending on applicable data-protection law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority.

Changes to this notice

If Plusiko’s functionality or data handling changes, this page and its update date will be revised.
